Hello! I’m Anastasiia, also known as Lapin Siia — a children’s book illustrator originally from Ukraine, now living in Norway. I moved here in 2022 and have since been working from my home studio, surrounded by sea views, changing skies, and plenty of inspiration from nature.

I graduated in 2019 with a degree in graphic design, but even during my studies I fell in love with children’s book illustration. My diploma project was an illustrated book, and I’ve never really looked back — I’ve been illustrating ever since.

I work digitally, creating all my illustrations on an iPad — a tool I’ve been using daily for over four years.

​

I’ve worked on a variety of projects, including greeting card designs, illustrations for licensed products like puzzles, full children’s books, and partial book commissions. I’d love to expand my work into board game illustration, surface design projects, more picture books, and character-focused art — and I’m always excited by projects that mix storytelling with playful or decorative elements.

When I’m not drawing, I’m probably playing cosy games, exploring the outdoors, or spending time with my very bossy cat Lakritsa.
